Search

PapersHive Search Engine searches quickly over PubMed, MEDLINE, PubMedCentral and pre-prints for over 36 millions publications. You can use natural language, advanced search, DOI or author lookup. Everything you need to know is covered in this guide.

PapersHive offers a quite simple UI when it comes to search. Simply go on the main page and perform a search such as Breast Cancer. This would immediately search over the whole dataset.

You will be presented with a list of search results with top keywords and authors to the right.

Search Breast Cancer

By searching for example Di Lascio S the engine understands that it is an author and their publications will be listed. You can see in the search explanation how the query has been parsed in the engine.

Searching on Collection and Full-Text

Once you save articles in a collection they become searchable(see Reference Manager and Integrations for more details about how to get articles in collection with different tools). In case of open access papers, PapersHive automatically downloads the full-text and makes it searchable.
